We need greater clarity. Clarity about what really matters. Otherwise, humanity runs the risk of losing everything.
People live in and depend on businesses. Businesses are the breeding grounds for so much. They are a refuge for people. Businesses provide people with work. Businesses create jobs and thus an income for people. They are the most important thing in a society. Why?
They create something.
Entrepreneurs are people who are capable of many things. They have ideas. They put ideas into practice. They are there and bring people together. People work alongside them. They help one another. They all want to do something. They want to achieve something together. They are capable of much and are therefore also able to create something. Something that helps people.
That is the principle of business. Companies should help people. Do what helps people to be themselves and to live as they wish. People can contribute to companies. Contribute with their talents and skills, and in doing so help to create something. Something that helps people.
We humans are here to do something. To contribute. To support the human community. To help it move forward. To create what helps. What also helps people move forward themselves. We are here to contribute to everything that ought to be. It ought to be that ideas can exist. It ought to be that people can act independently. It ought to be that people can put their ideas into practice and thus develop further.
People should be free to decide what they do. They should be able to do what they are good at. People are here to live out their uniqueness. This means: “They are good. They can do a lot. Every person is important. Every person can contribute to something being created.”
Let entrepreneurs do what they want. Do not hinder them. Be clear in your mind: they are the most important thing. If you do not let them, what else is there to be?
Nothing can happen then. They are the wheel that must turn so that something is created. Humanity is here to create. To draw from the pool of talents and abilities that exist to create what is necessary so that everything moves forward. So that things move forward for the good of people.
It is not about making as much money as possible. It is about letting people be. Letting them do what they want.
Entrepreneurs, in particular, should be allowed to do so. Give them what they need so that they can do what they want. Their ideas should be allowed to flourish. Entrepreneurs are people who want to create something. They contribute not only their ideas and skills, but also their enthusiasm. They inspire others. They win people over to their side. They are the initiators of shared purpose.
Shared purpose creates community. Communities that carry people forward. You don’t have to. You want to. You see what can emerge when people who want to are together. Who work together. Who inspire one another. Who do what they love.
Love can exist where there is entrepreneurial action. Love can exist when there are people who want what they do. Who help one another. Teams emerge. Teams in which people work together on something they enjoy and which also helps them grow as people.
You learn from one another. You’re close. You realise. You realise that moving forward together achieves more than moving forward alone.
You share. You’re willing to share because you know more is possible when you share. You recognise the wave. The wave that arises when people are connected. Connected in their hearts. Wanting to be together. They know it feels good when we’re together. It’s very different when you sense there’s someone else who wants it too. Who can do it too. Someone with whom you can then exchange thoughts on everything you’ve seen and experienced.
You want to make progress. You don’t want to stand still. It’s fun when you see something developing. We’re creating something. Often something you’d never have thought yourself capable of before. The wave brings this about. The wave that arises when people are on a journey together. When they love what they do.
In this respect, companies differ. If love cannot exist, then what generates the wave is missing. If love cannot exist, people cannot be who they are. Lovers who want to love. They are there. They act.
There is no heart in the doing. You are an employee. Not a co-entrepreneur. You do what you’re told. Often by someone who isn’t putting their heart into it either. You have a role. You’re someone in the hierarchy.
But hierarchy doesn’t move anything. It breeds stagnation. It nurtures the ‘someone’. The ‘someone’ whose heart often doesn’t beat for the company, but only for being that ‘someone’.
These are not the companies that matter to the human community.
There can be no love in these companies. There is no leadership. As a rule, the managers cannot lead themselves. They are not aware of how they operate. They have simply become what they are. Often one does not know how, but they are there and cannot be what they are. They are what one wants them to be.
People who simply do what is expected of them. Agents for those who appointed them. For whom the company is not what it should be. For whom the company exists to make money. To make ever more money.
But we are talking here about the other companies.
About the companies that form the backbone of the economy in every country. That generate the majority of value creation in every country in the world. Led by entrepreneurs. People who also want to earn money, but for whom the company comes first. Who love what they have created. Created together with other people.
These are the companies we are talking about now.
The companies that are almost suffocating under bureaucracy. That are constantly confronted with new regulations. That have to deal with people who do not help them, but constantly hinder them more and more.
These people work in institutions that cost society more and more. Costs that all entrepreneurs have to cover.
No end in sight. No, the entrepreneurs are already almost at the end of their tether. Many are giving up. They can’t go on. Too much bureaucracy. More than 15 hours of work every single day. And then there’s the bureaucracy. Bureaucracy that demands things that can only be delivered with the help of specialists. Specialists who not only cost a lot of money, but who, due to the unclear regulations, no longer know their own way around the system themselves.
A perpetual motion machine that will destroy everything that has been built up over decades if it is not finally brought to a halt. If the root cause of all this is not stopped.
People who have no regard for entrepreneurs. They are mainly active in institutions that have only one thing in mind: ‘To preserve the institution and consolidate its power.’
Entrepreneurs are not wanted. People who do as they are told are important. They come from all over. Mostly from the party ranks. After all, one must create posts for the party. Posts that are not only highly paid, but also allow one to take on many other side jobs on the side. And, of course, to earn extra money on the side everywhere.
That is how it is today. Entrepreneurs are expected to pay. To pay more and more and keep quiet.
What if they were no longer to keep quiet? What if they were to do what they are perfectly capable of doing!
What exactly?
Stop handing everything over. What is it they hand over?
They pay income tax in advance. They pay their employees’ taxes and all manner of contributions to the institutions responsible for collection. They hand over everything that all employees working in companies pay in taxes and contributions.
They do this for millions of people in a country, month after month. They bear the costs of this, and on top of that the costs of those who work in the institutions and manage all the money that people give them month after month.
What if all companies were to say tomorrow, ‘We’re stopping this’? ‘We won’t put up with any more of this. Let them see what happens when the money stops coming in. We won’t hand anything over anymore.’
Then we’d see what all comes to a standstill. A lot would come to a standstill. Good for people, because then it would become clear just what entrepreneurs do for the community. On top of that, they’re legally obliged to be members of institutions that actually do nothing for them.
Self-governing bodies that can only exist because entrepreneurs allow them to, even though they do nothing for them.
What are we entrepreneurs?
Key contributors without significance. Without significance to those who run the countries today. They act like the bosses. Sit on committees. In government. Decide on things without very often knowing what they’re doing.
Running a business properly is a foreign concept to them. Annual budget deficits running into billions of euros are proof that they cannot manage a business. If entrepreneurs were to run their businesses in the same way as those who lead the country today, they would all be in prison for negligent bankruptcy.
Entrepreneurs – what should you do?
It’s quite simple. Realise what your significance is for the country. Be aware that you are good. You are doing your bit for the country. Manage your affairs properly. Hold together what needs to be held together so that your business can continue to exist. Despite all the obstacles placed in your path by those who lead your country. Those who are clearly incapable of leading the country, as is easily demonstrated by the annual deficits they cause and the mountains of debt they have accumulated.
Entrepreneurs, be aware that if you continue to allow everything that is happening to go on, our country will cease to exist.
Once upon a time, there was a country that was highly regarded worldwide. It was regarded because it managed its affairs properly and was blessed with many companies that were successful on the global stage.
It is important that you, as entrepreneurs, demonstrate what you also demonstrate in the markets in which you operate. We know what we want. We are capable of much. Our staff are top-class. They are committed. They are proud of our company. They have every reason to be proud of our company. We deliver what is needed. We are there for people. We do everything to ensure they stand with us. We are reliable. We are there when we are needed. We know what it’s all about. We want to know what people want. We know that we must know in order to survive. We rejoice with those who are with us that what we do makes a difference. We want to help our customers. We want to satisfy them. They are our asset. People like us. For the money they have given us, they should receive everything we say we will give them when they become our customers.
Entrepreneurs – what do you experience with those you tolerate? You tolerate people and institutions that give you nothing. That only cost you. Get a grip. The bureaucracy won’t let you off the hook anymore. It has you in its grip. It doesn’t want it any other way. You know that, don’t you? Announcements, constant announcements. We know the bureaucracy costs billions, makes promises, yet it only ever gets bigger, never smaller. You have to have the posts. You have to have everything so that you can turn people into permanent supplicants.
Entrepreneurs – you’re good people. Not supplicants. Your customers also say what they want. Why don’t you tell those who are there, constantly fleecing you and harassing you with bureaucracy, what you want? You don’t want any of this. So just say that you don’t want this anymore. Show them what will happen if they carry on doing what they’re doing.
Entrepreneurs – you’re good at this. You can organise things. You can speak up too. You talk to your customers when you’re selling your goods and services. You’re often brilliant salespeople. You know how to express your opinion. You’ve got specialists who can do that too. You have everything you need to make something successful. You can do so much in your businesses, and yet you act as if you can do nothing.
Entrepreneurs – enough has been written. You know what this is about. You are infinitely important for everything in our country. For its further development. For the people who work for you.
Why don’t you finally take what you’re capable of and ensure that what needs to be changed is changed? So that our country, once a model nation, doesn’t lose what matters most: ‘Faith in its entrepreneurs. They can do a great deal. They are our backbone. They can change what needs changing. Everything that prevents our country from having as many entrepreneurs as possible to drive our country forward.’
“I want to,” entrepreneurs say time and again; otherwise, they wouldn’t be where they are. They must want to; otherwise, all the good ideas they have would never be realised. Every entrepreneur knows how hard it can be when the going gets tough. When markets turn. When the product can no longer be sold. When money is tight and you have to save to make ends meet. To keep the staff you have.
Entrepreneurs – look at who you are. Don’t leave your country in the lurch. It needs entrepreneurs who tell people: “We can’t carry on like this. We know it can’t work this way. They’re driving us into a wall.”
Entrepreneurs – look at who you are. People look to you. To them, you are someone they trust. They know you. They want to be with you. To them, you’re someone they can relate to. Someone who’s there when they need you.
Accept – entrepreneurs – that this is the case. Simply assume that you’re someone people trust when you speak. You know what’s at stake, just as you know how things are going in your business. You are also someone with experience. You know what to do when the going gets tough. You also know people who can get things done.
Entrepreneurs – just look at who you are. Anything is possible when entrepreneurs stand together and say to one another: “We’re not having any more of this. You can’t carry on like this. We won’t let our country and our businesses go under.”
All is well. You are here. Entrepreneurs of our country. We want to stand with you. We, the employees in your companies, want to stand with you. We know we can move forward with you. We want to move forward with you. There are many of us. We will no longer let ourselves be told what we know is not true. Lies galore. Mismanagement everywhere. This is not the way. We want it to be different. Now. Otherwise, our country is lost.
We also know it won’t be easy. But we have experience. We have experience from our businesses. Things can get tough there too, at times. We then have to do a lot of things we don’t always want to do. But then things get done. We stand together. We’re on this journey together. Anything is possible if you want it.
So, you know – entrepreneur – we’re on this journey with you. We want what you want too. A country that’s well-positioned. Just as you want your business to be well-positioned. Let’s go together. To us, you’re someone we trust. We’ll follow you. Let’s go now. It’s time for us to go now, otherwise we’ll lose our country and perhaps you too.
You can leave, we know that. Many countries want entrepreneurs like you. But then we’ll be gone. Gone from our jobs, which you’ll have to move elsewhere so that our company survives. Let’s be clear: we definitely don’t want you to leave. That’s why now. Now say NO to those who are leading our country to ruin if we don’t stop them.
Entrepreneur – be clear: we’re with you. Not just for your sake, but also because our lives are at stake. We want to work. We want to work in your company. We want to create something. We’re also keen to see something created that we can be proud of.
Entrepreneurs – be in no doubt: we’re with you. We’re all with you, because we know that with those who want to lead us, our lives cannot be the way we want them to be. They are not leading our country, but running it into the ground. That is now perfectly clear to us. We do not want that.
That is why – entrepreneurs – we stand with you and will do whatever is necessary. We will change everything so that our country can once again be a country of entrepreneurs. Just as it once was, when entrepreneurs still mattered.
