God can come now, the people say. The people don’t say God is here. They don’t say that because they don’t know that God is here.

God can come now” is also easier said. Why? Because then people can comfortably carry on doing what they do. They do what they don’t want to do.

God wants people to do what they want to do. God wants people to do what they want to do because then they are content and happy.

That’s what God wants. God also wants people to do what they want to do so that people don’t always do things they don’t want to do – because then they stray ever further from their path. They stray from their path because they are no longer themselves.

They are no longer themselves because they are always doing what they don’t want to do. They twist themselves out of shape. They are tense. They are tense and then they can’t concentrate. They can’t concentrate because they are tense and can’t think clearly anymore.

It’s not that people want to be tense. They just are. They are because they constantly do what they don’t want to do. They’re tense because there is always something there. Something that makes them unhappy. Something that makes them unhappy and prevents them from doing what they want to do. They are tense, too, because they are furious. Furious at themselves. They are furious at themselves because they always let others dictate their actions.

That’s not good. That’s not good and it can cause relationships to become distorted. One person orders the other one around. That’s not good. That’s not good because the one person is sending the message to the other that he cannot do what he wants. He cannot do it and he is angry. He is angry, and this causes something to happen the next time that isn’t good. It’s not good when people think that others are at their disposal. That’s not good because the other person has an agenda too. The one person cannot know the agenda of the other. He can know it, but it can change. Then, conflict becomes inevitable. This can create a bad atmosphere. It creates a bad atmosphere and people can no longer talk with each other. That is the beginning of everything. They no longer talk with each other.

It’s a cycle. It is a cycle that leads nowhere. People start wanting domination over each other. Then they are doomed. Why?

Because they are obeying their EGO. They obey their EGO and do what their EGO makes them think. They give orders. They are suggesting, “I can tell you what to do. I can tell you what to do and when you have to do it.” That’s not good. It’s not good because it creates division among people. They become divided and can no longer control themselves. They become aggressive. This also makes them hurtful. They are hurtful and destroy more and more of what they are. That’s not how they are. They are different but they aren’t good either. They aren’t good when they are harassed. When they are harassed because they don’t do what others want them to do.

The circle is still open now. It is open with regard to the response. It is open with regard to the response because people still have an alternative. They can respond with composure to this desire to control. They can simply not do it. They don’t do it and consequently, nothing happens. They don’t do it, and the other person recognises that that wasn’t bad. He recognises that it wasn’t bad because nothing happened. Nothing happened that was important. Nothing important happened that can’t be taken care of later.

That’s the difference. People are doing something. They are doing something and they’re doing it when they want to do it. They do everything. They just do it when they want to.

People have time. There is much they can do. There is much they can do, and they can do it when they want to do it. Time is a human invention. It has been the cause of much suffering among humankind. Time has driven people to do everything under pressure. They do it and they are exhausted. They are exhausted because of the pressure and not because of what they are doing. They are exhausted and then they cannot do what they want to do anymore. They want to do things properly. They want to do things properly and yet they can’t. Why? Because they are exhausted.

Humans are not God. They are not God, nor can they be God. They are human. People act the way they act. They always act quickly. They act quickly, and often from a place of emotion. They act, only to realise that they have acted too quickly. They cannot go back anymore. They don’t want to go back anymore. They are immobilised. They believe they have made a mistake. People make mistakes. Except people believe that they are not allowed to make mistakes.

Mistakes are good. Mistakes are meant to teach us something. They are meant to teach us about something that we do not want to repeat. They are here to help us learn that it was a mistake, and that it should not be repeated. The mistake is good. Yet people think that mistakes aren’t good. They aren’t good if they are made over and over again. Mistakes are also not good if they are made over and over again because of a lack of concentration. They are also not good when they are made because people are acting too quickly.

People do things. That’s good. But they often do things only for the sake of doing something. Action is good. It is not good if people do things because they believe they are making a point. What point? That they are taking action. People act and fail to see that taking action as such is not what matters. It isn’t what matters because it only results in some action being taken. But when action occurs, it has consequences. Consequences that likewise might not be good.

People should take action. They should act, but they should act deliberately. Never from a place of emotion. What is an emotion? An emotion is something that arises from a feeling. A feeling that the person has. A feeling that motivates him to do something. To do something not the way he wants to do it, but to do something because he wants something to happen. But things can happen quickly. People do things. They do things and act from a place of emotion. They act from a place of emotion and in so doing, they can hurt other people. They act without control. They are beside themselves. They can no longer control themselves.

People can do that. They can, however, adhere to a fundamental principle: Never act from a place of emotion!

Emotion is a temptress. A temptress to act. To act and thus to make it clear: “I’m taking action!” But “I’m taking action” is not enough. It’s not enough because action alone is not enough. It’s not enough because people have then merely acted, yet they have achieved nothing. They achieved nothing because they didn’t really do anything. They didn’t really do anything because they just reacted.

They react, but do not act. They do it and yet have achieved nothing. They may have hurt someone, though. Hurt someone they didn’t want to hurt. But they have done so.

It is not good to hurt people. God cannot tolerate that. He can’t tolerate it because God loves humankind. He loves them and He doesn’t want to see people get hurt. They do it. They do it, not knowing that they are hurting themselves. They are unaware that in so doing, they are violating a divine law. A law that states: “Do not do anything that could hurt other people because you will get hurt yourself.”

That can happen. It can happen, and then people have to be able to ask for forgiveness. Are they? No! They usually do the opposite. They keep hurting others. They don’t stop hurting others. They are completely consumed by the emotion. It has them in its grip. They are no longer conscious of it. They become more and more disconnected from themselves.

That ends in disaster. They are consumed with anger. Wrathful. They are no longer present. They are no longer present, meaning they have lost the ability to control themselves.

That ends in greater disaster. They continue hurting others endlessly. They themselves are hurt. There is nothing more they can do. There is nothing more they can do and nothing more they want to do. They are now convinced that they are right. They aren’t right, but they believe they are right. Everything is off. They are right. Now they can say anything. They can claim that the other one hurt them.

God doesn’t want that. He doesn’t want that, but now He must watch how things unfold. Terrible things are happening. They are happening because man thinks he is right. A fallacy. He isn’t right, but merely believes that he is right. His EGO has overpowered him. It is his EGO that makes him think that he is right.

God wants to help. He can help. He can help by way of the heart. The heart lifts up His voice. It lifts up His voice, but is immediately drowned out by the cacophony of thoughts that assail people.

Man thinks. He is thinking now. He has thoughts that never stop. He thinks. He thinks. He thinks. He thinks, and things get worse and worse. He thinks, and there is so much noise inside him that he no longer hears his heart telling him, “Stop!” Stop it, and don’t destroy everything.

That is possible. That man is now destroying everything. He destroys, say the people. He destroys, and considers himself a victor. He is not a victor. He did not triumph. He has merely destroyed himself and the other person. Destroyed in the sense that they are both hurt.

God is standing by. God stands there and can do nothing. He can do nothing because man has free will. Free will is a law. Even for God.
